Love On The Run with Smallchange & Still Life at Jackpot this Friday at The Commodore in BK!

In the Disco, you are a star...

I am super hyped to be spinning along with Smallchange this Friday. I've known Jim for nearly 15 years from him spinning all over NYC, and while we have played at quite a few of the same venues, this may actually be the first time we've played a party together!

Anyways, here is the promo straight from the horse's mouth, hope you can make it:

"One of our resolutions for Jackpot! this year was more guests, and big shouts to Edan for destroying (as he does) last month. Make loops with tape on the records ppl. When do you see that these daze?!

This month we have another heavyweight collectro DJ Love on the Run. homeslice has been in the nyc trenches forevers doing his thing. definitely peep his Secret Rendezvous blog and get edumicated on the (very) deeper side of disco, modern, boogie and beyond. http://secretrendezvousonline.blogspot.com/

and when we're finished washing off our greasy fingers from Commodore's stellar fried chicken (don't ask us, ask Stevie Wonder's wifey) we'll be droppin' vintage heat from around the globe, and if yer lucky some golden era hip hop in the wee hours. remember ppl. share the nachos. its a lil too much for one person to handle...

Hi -

I've been searching everywhere for a song whose name I forgot and i think you may have posted it, based on the fact that it's opening line is "in the disco, you are a star"

Unfortunely, the video you posted doesn't exist anymore?

If you can remember the name of the song you posted that would be amazing, thanks! In my memory it's something like "G on the funk" or something
