Fire Keep On Burning Mix CD

Shameless plug:

If you still haven't picked up my "Fire Keep On Burning" mix cd, there are a small number of copies still available at Good Records NYC. It's a mix of Afro-Caribbean Disco tunes, from slow to fast, from Jamaica to Africa. All OG pressings, a few "unknowns" and discoveries, and a few of my own exclusive edits. Buy it now!

Space Cadets - Spaced Outta Place

I've got the slightly different uptempo Sundown version of this one in a trade a while back. They are actually both spectacular early Detroit productions from none other than Amp Fiddler.

"Now, I may be An old-fashioned country girl" - Loleatta Holloway "Hit and Run" Walter Gibbons Remix

Between Loleatta tearing it up on the mic, and Walter tearing it up on the mix, this is an absolute slice of Disco dance floor perfection. There is just so much passion put into this piece of wax, it's really special. When the break comes, and that bass line pops back in I jump up and dance on the ceiling. As far as "classics" go, this is on my all time faves list.
